We love football and we send the season off by watching the “Big Game” and eating some awesome “football food.” The messier, the better.
This year, we are celebrating with a taco bowl because they are so simple but so good.
Start by making a bed of tortilla chips in your bowl and then add some prepared taco meat. On top of that, you can use your imagination. Anything goes! Some options to choose from include:
- Cheddar cheese
- Nacho cheese sauce
- Shredded lettuce
- Baby Spinach
- Chopped tomatoes
- Black olives
- Black beans
- Refried beans
- Corn
- Chopped cucumber
- Chopped broccoli
- Salsa
- Sour cream
- Hot Sauce
- Chopped avocado
What do you like in your taco bowls?
Guaca-Salsa
- 2 avocados, peeled, pitted and diced
- 2 roma tomatoes, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Stir all ingredients together just before serving. Enjoy!
