My son asked me yesterday, “Mommy, why don’t the leaves turn colors in the fall where we live?” I told him that in our area most of the trees are evergreen or oak. Sadly, despite the majestic quality of our oak trees, the leaves go from green to brown seemingly overnight. Not a lot of variation.
He accepted the answer but it made me wonder if we should take a family trip one year to see the colors change.
Do you get great color in your area? If so, let me know in the comments because we might come for a visit next year!
